The Training Needs Identification and Design course aims to equip learners with the tools to identify gaps in learning within an organisation or on an individual basis by conducting Training Needs Analyses and to then be able to design a training plan for their learners based on this.

Aim of the Programme Module

This programme module aims to provide a learner with the relevant knowledge, skills and competence to deliver, assess and relevant training and development activities.


As well as being a Minor Award in it's own right, this module is 1 of 2 modules which makes up the Level 6 Special Purpose Certificate in Training and Development (6S3372).  The other module required for the Major Award is Training Delivery and Evaluation (6N3326)
