OVERVIEW

Understanding the role of the Trainer/ Facilitator in Training and Development is complex. Behind every training session, there is a lot of preparation and meticulous attention to detail. This course aims to support the trainer to explore different methodologies, and strategies to make training fun, effective and relevant for their learners.   • The tutor’s role as an effective communicator and upskilling in the competencies and qualities needed for adult educators/ trainers
  • Accommodating learning preferences and diversity including how to deali with difficult situations and conflict in this setting
  • The art of facilitation within training and its use in Adult Learning
  • Training preparation and presentations
  • Planning a workshop and understanding different methodologies and visual aids
  • Kirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation and the role of “on the Job” evaluation including how to integrate performance management into Training and Development
