In line with our GDPR policy, MIDAS Learning protects and reviews the information that you give us on a consistent basis.  The purpose of this privacy policy is to demonstrate our commitment to protecting privacy interests of our clients and website browsers.

MIDAS Learning is committed to safeguarding all personal data that the organisation is entrusted with. We will endeavour to take the most appropriate measures, both technically and manually to protect the security of ALL data, together with staff awareness and training.

MIDAS Learning is committed to taking all reasonable steps to protect your privacy in using our websites and our services, in accordance with Data Protection legislation.  By using MIDAS Learnings website and/or our services, you signify consent to the collection and use of information by MIDAS Learning as specified below as well as the terms of our current privacy policy as posted on this website.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post any changes on this page so that the website users are always aware of the type of information we collect, how this is used and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.


What is the Purpose of our Data Collection?

When a visitor looks up a page from MIDAS Learnings website, our web server automatically recognises that visitor’s domain name and the IP address used to access our site. We use this information to review our web traffic and analyse this to help improve the user experience by providing relevant marketing information to individual visitors to MIDAS Learning’s website.

We may also request your name, email address, telephone number and postal address for the purposes of providing you with information in relation to our training and development courses or, where relevant, our recruitment services.  Whenever we request information from a visitor to MIDAS’s Learnings website, we will clearly indicate the purpose of our enquiry before obtaining any information.  

We may then store this information on our CRM systems to assist with future marketing and delivery of our services.  Delivery may include creating learner records, course management processes, training awards and certification activities, plus recording training programme statistics. Where a legitimate interest exists, your personal information may be used to provide you with additional information about our services, under Article 6 of the GDPR regulations.


What do we do with your Data?

MIDAS Learning endeavour to only hold accurate and up-to-date data in relation to our clients.  MIDAS Learning staff may also contact clients by telephone or email to check and ensure the continuing accuracy of all data.

MIDAS Learning is obliged to hold no more data than is necessary for the purposes of delivering our services.  It is our policy to regularly review the data supplied to us and use secure means to delete/destroy any data which is no longer considered necessary.  Different types of data are held for different time periods, depending on the purpose of the data.  

Client and marketing data may be held for a period of up to 5 years to support the delivery of current or any future training and development services.  

MIDAS Learning’s policy is to delete debit/credit card details once a transaction or payment plan has been completed. 


What are COOKIES and how do we use them?

Cookies are small files which are kept on a user’s computer. They are created to contain a small volume of data specific to a website or a client, and they can be accessed either by the client’s computer or by the web server. 

Our website uses cookies to record activity. It can help us to collect and retain data demographics which we use to inform us of user activity, behaviour and trends. 

Cookies allow the server to provide a page tailored to the user.  The information that we automatically log is as follows; your IP address, which is used to gather a wide range of demographic data, your browsers user agent and referring address that we use to assist in identifying problems within our server, to identify users and finally to administer our MIDAS Learning website.
