In order for a workplace to succeed and the organisation to thrive, management and employees must be able to appreciate and celebrate those differences in a positive progressive way. This course is an introduction to understanding and exploring diversity in the world and in work. It identifies where we can improve, as individuals, employers and organisations in understanding the pitfalls of stereotyping and how we can deal with and take responsibility for discrimination.

This course has been designed to help participants to improve their ability to effectively train employees on diversity within the organisation. It will support the HR department to put in place a plan to deal with discrimination and help using techniques/ practices to deal with negativity in the workplace. Participants have gone on to complete many of the management accredited courses at QQI Level 6 including Business Management, HR and Conflict Management.
