OVERVIEW
The QQI Level 6 Human Resources 6N3750 is a minor award that aims to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of the role and function of a Human Resource Manager in several different business environments and industry sectors. On conclusion, the learner will understand the role of HR Manager, as well as different disciplines including recruitment & selection, retention, performance appraisal, and effective human management. They will have a good indication of the best HR workplace practices, so that they can work effectively and independently in a functioning Human Resources role.

- Individuals who have an interest in Human Resources/Employment Law and may wish to pursue it as a career.
- Persons who have Human Resource responsibilities in organisations.
- Managers, individuals, and teams involved in HR and may want to gain a formal qualification in HR/Employment Law

CERTIFICATION
A nationally recognised QQI Level 6 award in Human Resources Management (6N3750).

METHOD OF DELIVERY/DURATION
- Three options – Classroom, Blended and In-house.
- Delivered over 120 hours (including independent study and assessment)
- Delivered over 5 days/8 mornings.
COST
€495 per course, reductions for doing 2 or more courses. Further reduction in doing the full major award (Certificate in Advanced Business Management (6M4985) or integration of modules. Grants are also available.
PROGRESSION
This Certificate will allow participants to improve their professional HR management skills, or allow them to retain work in the HR field. A recommendation would be to complete the course in conjunction with the Employment Law course, in order to give the learner a comprehensive overview of HR for the Non-HR manager in a large organisation or HR in a small organisation. Mapped onto the National Qualifying Framework at level 6, this module can be used as a minor award towards gaining a full major award in many different Level 6 programmes, including the Certificate in Advanced Business Management (6M4985). This Certificate will enable you to progress to other programmes at level 6 or higher including colleges and higher education providers.
