OVERVIEW
The Training Delivery and Evaluation (6N3326) course is a QQI Level 6 minor award.
While all areas of the Systematic Training cycle are studied, the course will concentrate on the final 2 stages of the Training Cycle – the delivery and development of a programme and the role of evaluation and feedback within a programme. Participants will learn how to confidently deliver a dynamic training programme that centres on the learners’ needs and learning outcomes, as well as how to effectively evaluate this training. Combined with our Training Needs Identification and Design (6N3325), successful participants will gain the QQI Special Purpose Award Certificate in Training and Development (6S3372). This combination of the 2 awards is a compulsory qualification, which is needed should you want to train within the public sector or in organisations that are looking for systematic training delivery and evaluation.

- Understanding different types of learning styles, and identification of key aspects of adult learning theory to implement when designing delivering and evaluating a training intervention.

METHOD OF DELIVERY/DURATION
- Three options – Classroom, Blended and In-house.
- Delivered over 120 hours (including independent study and assessment).
- Delivered over 5 days/6 evenings.
COST
€495 per course, reductions for doing 2 minor awards leading to the Special Purpose Award, making you a fully qualified Tutor. Further reduction in doing the full major award (Certificate in Advanced Business Management (6M4985) or integration of modules. Grants are also available.
PROGRESSION
Upon completion of this course, successful candidates can then apply to study for Training Needs Identification and Design (6N3325), which when combined with the Training Delivery and Evaluation course, makes up the Certificate in Training and Development (6S3372), the Level 6 QQI Special Purpose Award. This qualification is needed to work in the public sector and enables learners to develop essential competencies and skills to become a qualified trainer as a specialist in their area of expertise. The Module is aimed specifically at understanding best practices in Delivery and Evaluation and is used in industry to develop SOPs, performance management techniques and succession planning.
The QQI Special Purpose Award in Training and Development is mapped onto the NQF at level 6. The special purpose can be married to your highest qualification. You may use these 2 modules as minor awards towards gaining a full major award in many different Level 6 major award programmes. This Certificate will enable you to progress to other programmes at level 6 or higher including colleges and higher education providers.
