This course concentrates on the pre-interview preparation. It explores the role of using competency-based techniques to get the best person for the role.
To do this, participants will:
- explore how to develop questions and their value in relation to the new role.
- identify the interview techniques that get specific, behaviour-based examples of past performance
- understand the strategies that follow through on this process.
- This course defines how the competency-based interview can further additional communication techniques and the use of other types of interview questions resulting in hiring the best person for the role.
